A snowman and his cardinal friends are out on a snowy winter night admiring the Christmas tree they have decorated together. The decorative border nicely frames the design with snowflake cornerstones and some extra added detail.
I'm a sucker for anything with snowman, snowflakes, or cardinals. This pattern combines all three into one. I absolutely love stitching the detailed borders on some of the samplers I'm working on. The fancier border in this sweet design evokes a similar yet simpler feel to me. It just seems to frame the design so nicely. I hope you enjoy stitching this as much as I have enjoyed designing it and stitching it.
