It’s snowing and you step outside into the crisp cool air all snug and warm in your jacket and boots. Snow is already covering the ground while still tumbling from the sky in big fat snowflakes. Each one special, each one unique. There is complete peace in the world in the utter silence that the falling snow creates.
For just a few moments all is calm and quiet as you admire the glittering snow.
This is one of my absolute favorite experiences of winter. I’m fortunate to live in an area that usually gets snow every winter. Unfortunately the beauty of the glittering snow and the ice crystals dripping from each tree branch are fleeting. They don’t stay long. But I hope that each one of you at least once in your life get to experience the peace and beauty of a winter wonderland. This is the inspiration for this winter snowflake cross stitch pattern.
This pattern includes two color pages. The chart has both colors and symbols for easy stitching.
